japanese Iris

this poem, Japanese Iris is imporant to each and one of the people because it represents who they are but is never compared to. Those flowers are very special and has a special meaning and each person has a flower that describes it's own person of who they are but japanese also has it's own saying... ' You can't compare one bloom to another'. A person's flower describes themselves but is never compared to.

  1. The Japanese girl has a port wine stain on her cheek. How do you think her classmates see that? Is she ugly or beautiful? Does the poet see her differently now? If so how?
