The infinite One

The poem, The infinite One is enriching, the words are filled with emotions, feelings and yet it's kind of sad in a way I can't describe. this makes me realise how really sad it is. I just can't really explain properly...

Your feet

This is such a cute poem, Your feet. It's such a cute poem about being so shy to your crush, always wanted to say something but can't find any words to speak so you look at their feet ! I used to do this all the time to my old friend I use to have a crush that went on and on for a while. It's a nice warm feeling inside but always tickles when something funny keeps bouncing around your stomach and it makes you go crazy! oh my!

Oblivion

This poem, oblivion is lovely. it explains how much love there is and no matter what the distance or sepration by force, love is in the air and will always find a way back togetherlike this movie I seriously cried in, Notebook. It's about a old man trying to relive the memories of his wife who has memory loss and in the end, they found their way back together and now forever in their embrace, they sleep in peace. (No Spoiler! SORRY!)

Absensce

This poem, Absence really, really moves me because the longer the distance, the more closer you want to be with the person you really like or love. It reminds me of how much I really like the person, in fact this just reminds me how much I love my best friend with all my hearts. You always been there for me, it's my turn to be there for you.

The Stolen Branch

This poem, The Stolen Branch is romantic. it reminds me of Romeo and Juliet in the famous baloney scene of course, not the sad ending where they both end up killing themselves. It's actually my favourite poem ever, it's enriching and romantic, it describes in a perfect clear image like you're watching a movie in your thoughts.

Jungle

I like animals, even this poem! especially when they're comparing themselves to a powerful exotic animal too! I enjoy this line from the poem. 'Running is a form of silent poetry' it's a saying that type of person who describes themselves comparing to an animal is based on who they are and possibly thinking that you were this beautiful dangerous animal from another life or an innocent doe pouncing gracefully as a ballerina along the meadow. The word Jungle is a beautiful dangerous place, so beautiful and yet dangerous in a natural environment. every jungle has it's own beauty.

japanese Iris

this poem, Japanese Iris is imporant to each and one of the people because it represents who they are but is never compared to. Those flowers are very special and has a special meaning and each person has a flower that describes it's own person of who they are but japanese also has it's own saying... ' You can't compare one bloom to another'. A person's flower describes themselves but is never compared to.

Celebration

This poem, celebration, it's a person missing someone they love and puts pretty flowers around the things that reminds them of the person they love and miss. I really like this poem because it shows how they really care and how they miss them dearly. It's rather a beautiful poem than sad because the person they love may be gone but both of their the love for each other will never leave.

Heart Attack Song

This poem, The Heart Attack poem is so cute! Just want to pinch some chubby cheeks!!! I like how it describes the emotions, how the persons feeling when they're close to that person, it's okay to tell how you feel about that person, it doesn't make you girly or gay! it's okay, just let them out! tell how you really feel, to the couples out there in the world, it's okay to say it, tell how you feel, let them know how you feel when you're with them, be honest! Many girls likes when guys confess but it would get more interesting if you're playing a game, giving hints, a puzzel for them to solve :)

Mid Night

This poem, Midnight is a sad reminder of my breakup after my bad experience, being left behind outside dark and alone trying to get home... I was very distraught and very hurt, torn my heart apart into two after being used and then leaves a message after all that had happened... what am really to you, what's your damn excuse to hurt me, why you do this to me, you didn't just leave me empty handed, only filled with more questions. I would post  this song to my ex, ' Get over it by the Eagles '

Learning to speak

This poem is a good interest to me because when I lose my ability to speak my language, it's like catching a viruse that you can't seem to get rid of... Always trying to fit into this 'hearing' world trying not to speak sign language because people judge so quickly assuming that you're stupid, a loser that no one wants to hang out with. I don't like people who judges quickly by appearance and make snide comments. Apparently to those who acts like a stuck up jerk does not understand the equalitity of human beings, everyone is different in their own way. NOBODY is normal !

Two Years

I don't really like this poem but it fits me... This person hook themselves up somewhere they want to be alone and grief away. For me I always put on my poker face as usual out for everyone to see but when I'm alone in my room, my safe room, I'm a moment away in tears and let it all out and then bedtime at 8 pm, yep, that's how depressing it was!

You

My favourite damn poem! I like the energy, it's alive and it eats you away! I like the energy of the person's hurt and anger, it brings out more of your inner self personality's and all the energy you never had. No body can say they never experienced the pain, and distraught with anger. Let all of your emotions out! I would like to bitchslap my ex silly and say you know I deserve better than that!

Katepwa

I'm very familiar with this name Katewpa in  this poem, and it describes well as a lake. It has all of the big hills, valleys and all of the animals; rabbits, squirrels, leopard frogs in the ponds, beaches. those days are always memorable since a kid and now I still enjoy, exploring, and still learning about Katewpa. sadly the pond disappeared into a lake but the more you expand through Katewpa the more pond there is and interesting as it gets when you're hiking all around, you'll start to notice all the beauty of the nature, climbing to the top of the hill, you just stand there and look around, best to do in the evening! it's so beautiful!

Night of the island

I really enjoy reading this poem, it's beautiful and exotic to image, easy to visualise that's the best part but it also seems to sound like a fantasy. Everyone would love to have a getaway to an island where it's only just by yourself or with you and your partner. To those who had the experience of honeymoon or vacation or what ever you would call it, you're very lucky.

Your laughter

I choose this poem, Your laughter because in the dark moments when you're in the blue, there's always going to be that one special person that will make you laugh or even make you smile without needing to hear a word from someone you love because they're there for you to make you smile. I'll always love my best friend though he may not understand the feelings I have deep down I have for him, It's been so long since I felt this way. I don't care if anythings taken away but I simply want to hear your laugh. Don't take that away.

The Flag

I choose this poem , Live because I love my country, Canada. Canada is a wonderful place to live in without all the silly violence going on. Canadian has a saying. It's a real sport if you can handle the cold. Canada is one of the safest place to live in, for a long time, we allow others from the other country that are at war and need a better safety for the children, we give food and water and shelter. Let's just say that we have a big heart. in most provinces, we offer good health insurance because our doctors cares and so does the government.

What remains

This poem reminds me of a song, 'When you're Gone' by Avril Lavigne. It's so sad, it makes me want to cry, I have one of my good friend's shirt to remember her by because it wasn't fair to take her life by a bullet that ended her life, I wear it because I want to remember the good and bad times together, good memories, I want to live for her. I also keep Sandy's little coat because she was very kind, wise and gentle little guinea pig, my best friend I could talk to about anything since I was twelve.

Light

This poem, Light is really moving. It's talking about how beautiful the light is, good and pure, just beautiful. I like how the person would stand facing it's back to the sun and create a shadow of the person's body to put a meaning into it behind a picture. In every photo, it has a reason, a meaning behind it, one simple picture puts in many hidden reasons and meanings. That's what makes a photo special, something to look back to that makes you smile and even make you sad.

What I do not tell

This is a sad poem, A person who loves that person dearly and had never really told the person about their own personal feelings until it's too late. I always have a special friend that I always loved until I missed my chance before he fall off the earth, just gone... RIP Justin B. Only the good ones dies young. I will never forget our special moments together.

Measure

This poem is about a person ageing, getting older by each minute rushing through life but people should... Do what you want, do what you need to do to make it memorable, make it last. Stop trying to past by and rush through, take your time and learn, life doesn't give, you have to earn it to make it your worthwhile. I like what this person said in this poem. ' Smile honey, you'll never be this young again ' so make it last!

Letters to E.D.

I love and hate this poem, Letters to E.D. because it relates to my personal life. I have a good fighting spirit and very stubborn as well as my counsellor and teacher says but  I'm fighting for the wrong thing. I'm like an ostrich too as well in the poem because I lose my confidence sometime as well. I'm a nobody but my self, don't like it? get lost.

Jolie Laide

I like this poem, Jolie Laide because it reminds me of this most beautiful famous actor, Angelia Jolie. Everyone aware of her beauty, her presence. She is my favorite actor, I'm insanely jealous of her beauty, I am a big fan of her but sometimes not because of her behavior toward Brad Pitt and how she reacts when Brad talks to girls. I sometime do pity her children because Angelia Jolie is always away on the trip, for making movies and would hire nannies to take care of the children. I heard of the rumours before that her children would call their nannie by 'mom' but it's just my opinion. Anywho, this poem fits Angelia Jolie.

Girls

I really enjoy this poem, Girls. I like how men would not understand girls as girls don't understand men as well. It's funny how guys don't understand girls, girls are fragile, girls tend to be totally tough on the outside but honestly on the inside we're soft as butter. Girls, we say some things but wants you do the opposite for example; 'I want to be alone' in translation it's meant like hold her and support her. we also know what men wants but it's frustrating when they don't understand like another example, we don't like being used as toys, playing around with their feelings and pretend to like them and lead them on. Remember, you can hurt girls physically and emotionly that can be also be emotionally and physically scarred for a long time but it's also same with women too! Just putting my two cents in!

The Hurt

I chose this poem, The Hurt because it express the love, the pain, the passion that person caused to the dear ones the person loves and turns into anger. I've been so hurt in many ways I can't decribe in words. My heart's been torn apart, sadness at first.. turned into anger, it was hard to surpass the anger, wanting to make the person go through what I went through.

If you forget me

The Captain's Verses by Pablo Neruda

     I choose this poem, If you forget me because it describes the pain I have for the person who moves on so easily but if you're going to ignore me and forget about me, I'll be doing the same thing. I also have one of my favorite song by Kelly Clarkson that is related to this poem,

My favorite part is that the person would starting notcing and would come back begging but already moved on anyways. My favorite line from kelly clarkson is 'What doesn't kill you makes you a fighter, footsteps even lighter, Doesn't mean I'm over you because you're gone :)

 I just simply enjoy this song to remind me everyday that I moved on for the best and for the worse.

Hearing Test poem

Book title: Beautiful mutants by Adam Pottle

This poem is about a sexual tension between a deaf and a hearing person's relationship. This poem, Hearing Test was chosen which relates to my personal experience because it describes the emotions with all of the anger, the lust, the need to be loved and happiness but never comes around in the end, only brings you down. I had this experience wanting to be loved and happy but it would never work out in the end. This poem means a lot to me because I felt desperate, lust and anger and also depression! This helps me understand that I've not been alone to experience this.
